How it Works

Year One

Level 1 Apprentice Training

The Level 1 Learner will focus primarily on Branch Circuit Wiring and Switch Control. This comprehensive Trainer and Workbook offer hours of hands-on learning, featuring over 50 wiring scenarios designed to elevate student engagement and understanding.

Year Two

Level 2 Apprentice Training

Conduit Bending takes center stage for the Level 2 Learner, offering hands-on experience across multiple techniques. From foundational hand bending to Chicago-style and PVC bending, this lab-based learning book is essential for mastering and retaining these critical skills.

Year Three

Level 3 Apprentice Training

Control Systems Wiring represents an advanced skill set that bridges ladder logic principles with hands-on applications. Learners engage directly with control transformers, relays, timers, start/stop stations, and the reversing control of three-phase motors—delivering a powerful, practical lab experience. The EL-430 Control Trainer offers the most comprehensive training and operates on a three-phase power supply, while the EL-360 provides a compact, budget-friendly alternative that runs on 120 volts and fits conveniently on a desktop or bench.

Year Four

Level 4 Apprentice Training

Advanced Control Systems with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) take learning to the next level, preparing students to keep pace with today’s rapidly advancing automation technology. Using the Koyo Click Series PLC, learners gain hands-on experience in both basic programming and control circuit wiring. Paired with the EL-430 Control Trainer and PLC module, or the compact EL-PLC Trainer, students progress through nearly 30 practical wiring exercises designed to strengthen understanding and ensure lasting skill retention.
